Canned whole tomatoes, made using firm, ripe fruit and a traditional Moldovan recipe — a pantry staple, especially useful outside the fresh tomato season. Made by Alfa-Nistru (Vis brand), Soroca, Moldova.

Ingredients: Tomatoes, water, salt, herbs (dill, parsley, horseradish), acidifier (E260), garlic, hot peppers, bay leaf.
